Course Description

MDTP is a systematic exercise-based approach to dysphagia therapy in adults.  Rather than a specific technique, MDTP is a framework from which to provide individualized therapy to adult patients.  This one-day intermediate course introduces participants to the conceptual basis of MDTP, provides the results of initial clinical studies documenting functional and physiologic benefits from MDTP intervention, describes in detail the components of MDTP, and provides step by step instruction for the evaluation and treatment of patients receiving the MDTP approach.

This course is offered for 0.85 ASHA CEUS (Intermediate level, Professional area)

PLEASE NOTE:  Please complete all the survey questions during this registraion process.  These responses will be used to report your CEU activity.

The content of this seminar is not available to students

Change of Format:  Please note that this course format has changed to a Zoom based course.  All other policies remain in effect

Should this pandemic reverse course and the  CDC and/or local governments determine that in person meetings are not 'safe' - this course will be converted to a Live and Online Zoom meeting.  While we do not anticipate that situation given the current domestic pandemic course, we are advising all interested parties to be aware of this possibility.  Should the format be converted our standard cancellation policies will apply.  No other refunds or considerations will be in effect.  This includes no refunds for any travel or lodging costs.

Cancellation Policy

Up to two weeks prior to the seminar, refunds will be made minus a processing fee of $100 USD.  No refunds will be available if cancelling within two weeks of the seminar nor following the seminar.

Seminar Change Policy

Once registered for a given MDTP seminar changing to a different seminar will require cancellation of the initial registration (See cancellation policy) and registering for a new seminar (pending space availability).
