Zandermasters is the first "Major" competition to be held in UK waters. Held in August At Rutland water entry is £35.00 each and is non-profit making, any monies surplus to ticket prices are either admin, or insurance costs. Tickets are nearly pre sold out, and payment will need to be made to get your name on the list. 

Rules: 

Lure fishing only.

You will draw randomly with a boat partner for the day and agree amicably who takes the engine. In the event that it cannot be resolved amicably, then a single round of papers, scissors, stone will take place. The winner will then be in charge of the engine for the first half of the day.

Fish to be caught are to be measured and recorded with a unique card. 

If 50 fish are caught in that period the angler will stop fishing, the partner will then record the time a bag limit has been caught and a TIME BONUS will be awarded.

Fishery byelaws apply, but hey this is a cool fun event, we want to keep it that way, group hugs all round!

Zandermasters was set up by Steve Collett as a fun event to intorduce English anglers into the world of boat predator fishing, as we fall way behind in this discipline. There are no real great prizes, corporate sponsors, just people wanting to pass on the fun and enjoyment of this type of fishing at one of the Uks greatest venues for this style of angling. Enjoyment is the name of the game, and hopefully the prestigious title will remain something special.
