Yule, Jul, Geol. However we spell it, the Winter Solstice comes. Yuletide is here! Our Northen European Ancestors might have found themselves snowed in, and outside, bitter cold and dark abound. But within the Hall, light, warmth, and Frith reign supreme. We will gather at the Hof to celebrate with and discuss the traditions of our Folk during this tide. From the decorating of the Tree, crafting of ornaments and wreaths from evergreens, to Jul Logs, House Wights, Stockings, Wassailing, and bowls of Porridge for the Tomte, our people have a bright and wonderful set of traditions during this time of year. A gift exchange for the adults, and Asa Thor for the kids! We might even make a Jul Bock or two. Come on up to the Hof and let's all make Merry and Glad this Holy Tijd! Waes thu Hael!
