APALI's 21st annual Youth Leadership Academy is an innovative class for interested students to learn about the Asian American community and embark on a personal journey to explore identity, history, education, career paths, leadership and civic engagement.

 

  • WORKSHOPS & ACTIVITIES that engages students to share stories related to identity, develop community awareness, and practice leadership skills.
  • PEER MENTORS to provide academic and personal support at a personal level to help students get the most out of the class.
  • ALUMNI INVOLVEMENT to share academic and career experiences, and to be role models that provide inspiration and motivation.
  • INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY where students help to build a supportive community that is inclusive, safe, and transcends ethnic, socioeconomic class, gender, sexuality, and religious boundaries.
