Chinese Year of the Rabbit! Learn a little about the year of the rabbit and various painting techniques to create your custom good luck painting - just in time for Easter, too! This is a custom painting created by local artist Carrie Turner using red (traditional color of good luck) and gray (to fit in to those OSU decorated homes), but you are welcome to use ANY color palette to create your painting. You will be learning about color blending, tints, tones, and shades in this painting WHILE you have fun! The painting is designed for adults (and older teens) - even those who have never painted before. You will get great results and be proud of your artwork! Step by step instructions will be taught by local artist Carrie Turner. All painting supplies are provided.
Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. You may otherwise BYOB and food. You may also order off of the Weasel Boy menu (at your cost) and enjoy your food and drinks while we paint! We will have a drying break early on, so you could put in an order before you come upstairs and go down and get it on break. The event will be held at BunkoJess Gallery, 126 Muskingum Avenue, Zanesville, blue door, second floor.
$35 total ticket price for this event paid online. Please note this is a non-refundable ticket. If we (Spirited Creations or BunkoJess Gallery) cancel the event for some reason, you would be refunded. If you are sick (or unsure/in quarantine/waiting on test results), you may gift/sell your spot to someone else. Due to wanting to encourage people to stay home if sick... as a one time courtesy, message the Facebook page and I will refund you and still likely be able to resell the seat - so don't feel bad to message me if you're sick. Unfortunately, life happens. I want to be able to keep having parties, so I'm planning to keep people as safe as possible.
