A Conversation with Prof. Aaron Gerow- The Alfred W. Griswold Professor of East Asian Languages & Literatures and Film and Media Studies

Professor Gerow will talk about the past, present and possible future of Japanese cinema. With “Drive My Car” winning an Oscar, there are increased expectations for Japanese film, but are those warranted?  Prof. Gerow is the author of numerous books and articles about Japanese film from the earliest days to the present including Visions of Japanese Modernity (2010), and Kitano Takeshi (2008).

Participation Fee:  ¥1,000 (Collected at Event Registration Desk at I-House)
