About the Event

Join other Westchesterians in creating craft activity packs for the children who come to the Westchester Food Pantry. Once a month we gather to create these packs which include crayons, coloring pages, stickers and more so the children can be occupied while the adults shop the pantry.

A great way to give back to the community.

All supplies are provided by the studio. Just bring yourself, a fun attitude and a smile to join in.

Open to all ages and will certify for community service for children who need the hours.

About the Organizer

Joyfully Crafting Studio is a place to learn, share and find joy in creating. Classes are offered to both members and the public. Instructor Bio – Susan Marquardt Due to major back issues, I was forced to leave my retail management career and have had a very difficult time finding work. So, with the support of my amazing husband, in Spring 2017, I decided to return to school and obtain a bachelor's degree in Adult Learning. For the fine art credit course, I had enrolled in my first ceramics class and immediately fell in love working with clay and set up my home studio soon after. I always had a love to mentor and teach others. Now, I can combine my love of sculpting and teaching, by holding these classes.
