Training in Workplace Relations for Frontline Managers
Understanding employment law, human resources and the industrial relations framework in the context of the Australian maritime industry
Who should attend? This course is designed for people managers (HR practitioners, supervisors, senior crew) and those who have regular dealings with employees’ workplace conditions (operations managers, HSEQ, payroll).
Participants will learn about implementing effective and compliant policies and procedures, gain confidence in managing performance and behavioural issues in the workplace to achieve better outcomes and understand the mechanics and strategic elements of enterprise bargaining.
