Join us for a lively workshop designed for those with knowledge of structural racism and looking to deepen their journey to uproot and dismantle oppression.  We are inviting women and female-identified spirits to this co-learning workshop as we discuss how racism, anti-blackness, sexism and gender bias has been crafted to hold multiple identites oppressed. Looking at the wedge that has intentionally kept women and female-identified persons divided and distracted from uniting for liberation.

This workshop is for those who are looking to be active participants in the transformation needed to build equitable and thriving communities. This is second of the series, Journey to Radical Self Care; as we look at how oppression has intentionally isolated us from our network of support in sisterhood. In this time of division and confusion we are co-creating space for healing, learning, storytelling, and building community. We will ignite the wisdom held by all women and female-identified spirits to propel our communities toward healing and wholeness.

Participants will:

  • Develop deeper understanding of the historical role women and female-identified persons has played in maintaining structural racism.
  • Gain awareness and knowledge of systems of oppression and how they intersect and collude to keep wellness and prosperity from oppressed communities.
  • Develop personal strategies of how to acknowledge, name and address racism as it intersects with other forms of oppression.
  • Be a part of a co-learning space that centers the experience of women of color to acknoweldge harm endured and lead to paths of healing.

Please bring a notebook & pen/pencil, water bottle (no open containers in workshop space) and self-care items such as pillows, medications, energy snacks and sweater/blanket.

Scholarship price available for female-identified participants ages 18-24; please contact us directly at regent@fropros.com for this special opportunity.
