Class Description:

Now that we have learned the beginning skills, we can start to make more complicated pieces. Day one, we are going to design a piece ourselves! Feel free to come with a game plan and a stone you already have to use. We will be designing this piece with hammering and filling in mind. We will pre-shape and cut all our base wires and may even begn the hammering. Day two will involve the use of the hammer, anvil, and filed, as well as beginning to put our projects together. Day three will continue to see our projects take form as well as adding possible base wires, changes in the design if needed, and troubleshooting unforeseen problems during the creation process. Days four and five will see the completion of our projects, more troubleshooting, and those that may finish early will be able to design and make something to go along with their already created work. (ie. If you make a necklace, than you can make earrings or a broach.)
