About the Event

Join us in the beautiful Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area for this challenging but fun adventure. Enjoying the wilderness during colder weather requires the correct mindset and training. Participants will learn the essentials of staying safe and comfortable during cold weather outings this two day/one night course. This course requires an overnight stay in the wilderness and a hike approximately 10 miles in length and includes a challenging self-rescue exercise. Children 12 and older are free with a parent or guardian.
