Wild - wildlife information & learning day
Exciting stuff this year for *wild*, WRI are holding this event exclusively for rehabbers (those amazing people who constantly save the day when it comes to injured or ill wildlife throughout the country) and are asking them to save the date for what promises to be a blend of great speakers, practical advice and a healthy serving of fun and mingling.
Included are talks by Tina Aughney (Bat Conservation Ireland), Karen Mahon (Cool Planet Champion, Meath), Nicola Marples (Professor in Zoology, Trinity College Dublin) and Feargal Timon (Simulation Ireland) as well as lots of engaging learning opportunities in a relaxed and friendly environment.
It will be held in the fantastic Sonairte Eco-Centre and gardens in Co. Meath on Saturday 7th September from 10am - 4.30pm with refreshments and lunch provided. (please supply any special dietary requirements on booking)
If you're a rehabber or you aspire to become one in the future, we'd love to see you there.
