Every year the Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment has a special orientation session to welcome our new female students. You might remember attending one yourself!
It can make a huge difference for the new students to meet with current students who have come through what can seem like a daunting first year, and are now settled in and loving their degree.
The event will be a relaxed and informal gathering and we will have a few words said by current and past students as well as from some of our key female academics in the Faculty. Following these presentations, drinks and refreshments will be served.
