Kench Hill Centre, Kench Hill/Appledore Rd, Tenterden, Kent, TN30 7DG, United Kingdom.
This is one of West Kent Triratna Buddhists' regular Sangha retreats. In addition to our own Sangha it is also open to those who are members of other Triratna Sanghas or who have been on another Triratna retreat.
The central figure for the retreat will be Vajrasattva, the "Adi-Buddha",the personification of Sunyata itself - emptiness, fullness, Reality, the Absolute, the Union of Wisdom and Compassion.....
there's a lot to be said about Vajrasattva - and absolutely nothing at all.......
He holds the Vajra and the Bell, symbols of Compassion and Wisdom, the two essential properties of the Enlightened Mind.
How do we we stay in touch with those qualities and truly live the Dharma Life?
To be led by Vidyakaya, Suryaketu, Nagarakshita and Vidyaketu
Anyone is welcome who has had some Triratna experience, is over 18 and knows the basic practices. Unfortunately we have had to raise our prices slightly because the cost of booking Kench Hill has gone up considerably.
The price includes all your food and accommodation for the weekend. Please be aware that unless you have particular reasons, you will be in a shared room.

The West Kent Triratna Buddhists are part of the Triratna Buddhist Community (formerly the Friends of the Western Buddhist Order). The group is led by Order Members Nagarakshita, Vidyakaya and Vidyaketu. We have a strong emphasis on Sangha and friendship and making dharma practice a part of our everyday lives. If you have any queries about the retreat, please contact us before registering.
