This webinar will help participants with no computational background to get started using Unix for analytical tasks. After completing the training the participants should be able to confidently use the command line interface on either a local (laptop) or remote (cluster) Unix system and to navigate around the Unix file system from the command line, use a number of common Unix commands and create basic Unix scripts. The course will include a mix of lecture and hands-on components.

The Bioinformatics and Computational Biosciences Branch (BCBB) drives innovation in biomedical informatics at the NIAID for global health clinicians and researchers by fostering a pipeline of products, platforms, and solutions.
