Event Abstract
This RAeS Heathrow Branch webinar by Architect Giuseppe Calabrese will link together Terrestrial architecture to Space architecture encompassing ISRU on Earth and the possibilities of ISRU for Mars.
Giuseppe has a wealth of experience with Earth buildings and restoration and in this presentation links his research on Earth with space possibilities.
He will illustrate the definitions of Extreme environment, Mars Checklist and Resources, Construction elements, Criteria for Martian Outpost, Health considerations, Greenhouse for Mars, Presentation of the Award Winning SPROUT project for Mars and the need for further research not only for a future space outpost but to directly benefit planet Earth.
