The Information Session will give background to Living Proud and look at our events, projects and office volunteer roles in more detail.
Events volunteers play an important role in promoting Living Proud and the work we do with LGBTIQ+ community and the wider community, and volunteers with the Queer & Accessible project assist with making LGBTIQ+ events more accessible for people with disability.
Events take place throughout the year, with busy times in May (IDAHOBiT), August/September (School Stalls) and November (PrideFEST events). Events volunteers are only required to volunteer a minimum of twice per year.
The information session will take place on Zoom. The meeting link will be sent to participants a few days before the session date.
It is recommended (but not essential) that participants complete an Expression of Interest before attending the Information Session.
