Guest Instructor-Steve Fine Photo Editor at Flipboard and former Director of Photography at Sports Illustrated. Steve will be with us for the entire workshop and will participate in all critiques and be available for portfolio reviews.
Guest Speaker-Jeff Bottari Senior Staff Photographer UFC and photographer for The Las Vegs Golden Knights NHL team. Jeff will talk about shooting Mixed Marshall Arts events around the world and the challenges of shooting for a Professional sports team.
Featured Model-Vashti Cunningham Olympic High Jumper and Nike Athlete. Vashti will model for an athlete portrait and will also be participating in the workshop as a student.

Peter Read Miller has been photographing athletes, events and the sporting life for more than 40 years. He has worked as a staff and contract photographer for Sports Illustrated for more than 35 years and his images have appeared on over 100 Sports Illustrated covers. His editorial clients have included: Time, Life, People, Money, Playboy, Runner’s World, Newsweek, USA Weekend and The New York Times. In addition to covering nine Olympic Games and 41 Super Bowls, Peter has shot 14 NBA Finals. He has covered the Stanley Cup Finals, the World Series, the Kentucky Derby, the NCAA Basketball Final Four, and the Men’s and Women’s World Cup Soccer Finals. Peter is currently shooting the NFL for AP Images. Peter teaches yearly sports photography workshops earound the country. He has taught in Denver, Atlanta, Knoxville, Honolulu and Santa Clara. Peter has taught at Rich Clarkson's Sports Photography Workshop as well as Sports Shooter and the Santa Fe Photographic Workshop. Peter has spoken at the Los Angeles Chapter of the Advertising Photographers of America, Photoshop World, Imaging USA, CES and PDN’s Photo Plus East. He has also lectured at numerous colleges, universities and professional photographic organizations.
