Campers will join the group for a guided cooking lesson, lead by DSG staff. These will focus on simple recipes or snacks that will allow the campers to practice independent skills in the kitchen while following a video model.

 

This week's menu:

§  Cheesy Bean Burrito

·         1 can refried beans

·         1 pouch precooked brown rice

·         1 can diced tomatoes

·         1 bag shredded Colby jack cheese

·         4 burrito sized flour tortillas

·         Shredded lettuce

·         Sour cream

§  Margarita Corn

·         2 tbsp vegetable oil

·         12 ounces frozen sweet corn

·         ½ cup chopped cilantro

·         1 lime

·         1 tsp honey

·         Hot sauce

§  Mexican chocolate pudding

·         2 cups milk

·         1 box instant chocolate pudding

·         1 tsp ground cinnamon

·         1 tsp vanilla extract

·         1/8 tsp cayenne pepper

·         Whipped topping
