Campers will join the group for a guided cooking lesson, lead by DSG staff. These will focus on simple recipes or snacks that will allow the campers to practice independent skills in the kitchen while following a video model.
This week's menu:
§ Tuna Melt
· 2 cans tuna in water
· 1 stalk celery
· 2 green onions
· ¼ cup light mayonnaise
· 2 tbsp sweet pickle relish
· 1 tsp lemon juice
· 4 hot dog buns
· 4 slices of your favorite cheese
§ Veggies with spicy yogurt dip
· 1 container plain Greek yogurt
· 2 tbsp light mayonnaise
· 1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
· 2 tsp dried dill weed
· 2 celery stalks
· 20 baby carrots
· 20 grape tomatoes
· Sriracha sauce
§ Fruit water
· Strawberries
· Limes
· Lemon
· Cucumber
· Orange
· Celery
· 1 cup water
