Tim Bristol is a faculty development, NCLEX, and curriculum design specialist. He has taught at all levels of nursing to include LPN, ADN, BSN, MSN, and PhD. Developing new programs, innovations in learning, Next Gen Clinical Judgment preparation, and helping programs internationally, he is an expert in bringing the evidence-base of nursing, healthcare, and education to students and faculty at all levels. Through consultations, writing, and mentoring, Dr. Bristol assists faculty in identifying the competencies needed to effectively enhance programs for optimal student outcomes and practice-readiness. He has certification as a nurse educator, is a fellow in the American Academy of Nursing, and is internationally known for bringing excitement through success to his colleagues and students. Janine E. Hinton, PhD, MN, RN, CHSE Dr. Janine E. Hinton is the University of Arizona College of Nursing Steele Innovative Learning Center Director. She serves as immediate past president and on the board of directors for the Arizona Simulation Network. She chairs the International Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning Research Committee. Current projects include co-directing the Complex Adaptive Competency Laboratory. As part of COVID-19 mitigation she led adaptation of a face to face multi-deteriorating patient simulation into an engaging remote version by using a combination of technologies.
Jocelyn G. Nelms, MS/Ned, RN Jocelyn Nelms is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Arizona College of Nursing in Phoenix, Arizona. She serves as the Vice President, President Elect for Arizona Simulation Network. She chairs the Simulation Special Interest Group for the Masters of Science for Entry to the Profession of Nursing program (MEPN). As part of the COVID-19 mitigation, she developed and piloted a remote multidisciplinary simulation to support students as they transitioned to practice.
Lydia Zager is the Co - Executive Director and EducationalConsultant for Leading Learning, LLC and former Director for the Amy V.Cockcroft Leadership Program located in the College of Nursing at theUniversity of South Carolina (USC). She is a clinical professor emerita atUSC. Lydia earned her MSN in nursingadministration with a minor in education from the University of Texas HealthScience Center (UTSC) in San Antonio, Texas and her BSN from Pittsburg StateUniversity (PSU) in Pittsburg, Kansas. She was the Director of the Center for Nursing Leadership for SouthCarolina from 2004 – 2010 and the Director of the Amy V. Cockcroft ExecutiveLeadership Program from 2014 – 2017. Lydia is a retired Lieutenant Colonel from the Army Nurse Corps. She is a sought-after resource for facultyand has made numerous, international, national, and state presentations. Her expertise is in developing nursingfaculty particularly in the areas of clinical and conceptual teaching, clinicalreasoning, new generation of novice learners, item writing, & evaluation tomeet patient safety, NCLEX® & Joint Commission Standards in both the classroom& in clinical. Lydia is theco-author of four books, “The Eight Step Approach to Student ClinicalSuccess"(2018), “The Eight Step Approach to Teaching Clinical Nursing”(2017), “Medical Surgical Nursing Concepts Made Insanely Easy: A New Approachto Prioritizing Nursing”, (2019), and “Concepts Made Insanely Easy for ClinicalNursing”, (2019).
