Ali is a passionate wife, partner, reader, karaoke connoisseur, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, with two tiny humans who call her mom. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, she moved to Chicago to pursue her love of theatre and serendipitously discovered the world of behavior analysis. Ali earned a Master of Arts degree in 2011 and since then, has developed extensive experience working with adolescents and adults within the neurodiverse community for over 10years. With a foundation in Contextual Behavior Science, Ali began Behavioral Learning in 2020, a clinical behavior analytic organization focused on helping individuals, families, and supervisees develop psychological flexibility and ultimately live a life they value.

Ebone Greene, RBT
ABA Master’s student and clinical intern at Behavioral Learning
Ebone’ is a graduate student at National Louis University-Chicago Campus studying Applied Behavior Analysis and has worked within the neurodiverse community for two years. Currently, she is researching the use of preference assessments to identify preferred “love languages” under the direction of Linsey Sabielny, PhD. BCBA-D. Ebone' is a compassionate practitioner with a positive attitude that is infectious. She is also an active member of Black Applied Behavior Analysts (BABA) and the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science. She hopes to use the principles of applied behavior analysis in a collaborative model with other health professionals to reach various communities.

Matthew R. Mock, Ph.D. has given dynamic presentations on the relevance of cultural competence, ethnicity and multiculturalism in psychotherapy locally, throughout California, nationally and internationally. He is currently a Professor of Psychology with John F. Kennedy University. Prior to this, he was the Director and Ethnic Services/Multicultural Services Coordinator for the Family, Youth and Children's Services of Berkeley Mental Health for 20 years then the director of the Center for Multicultural Development with CIMH in Sacramento. He also has a private clinical and consulting practice in Berkeley providing clinical services to children, couples, adults and families, and consultation to programs and organizations. Dr. Mock is third generation Asian-American and has been committed to community mental health concerns, competent and responsive services to culturally diverse communities and social justice policies and practices, throughout his career. He has received numerous awards from professional organizations, guilds and programs, most recently 2019 Distinguished Contributions award from the Asian American Psychological Association. He is an invited speaker nationwide and internationally consistently receiving highest reviews by participants. He is the author of several book chapters and articles. Several recently published book chapters by Dr. Mock have direct relevance to the topic including narratives of social justice, men and the deleterious influences of patriarchy and experiences in his own life that inspire ongoing contributions to achieving greater social equity. In 2019, he received the Distinguished Contributions Award from the Asian American Psychological Association (AAPA).

Angelica Thomas is a doctoral student at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Anaheim. She also holds a master's in counseling psychology from National University. She has lived experience as an intersectional person that she brings to working with her clients on a daily basis. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults living with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and severe trauma as well as supporting families in their mental health.
