This years’ event is divided into two parts: Career Workshop and Career Day.

The Career Workshop will focus on the following:

  • Career planning, exploring available job market and options outside of academia, effective job seeking, tips and tricks, networking
  • Non-academic CV writing, with demonstration – finding a job offer, identifying skills required for a job and writing a tailored CV (real-life example)
  • Feedback from the trainer on your CV (participants are asked to bring to the workshop their ‘dream job’ offer and prepare their CVs and letter of motivation for this particular job for review and editing)
  • Private one-on-one discussion with our workshop trainer – 16x20 min spots – ask anything you want!
  • Job interview training. For the job interview practice, Jonas Ramoni, project manager from Ares Genetics, has kindly agreed to play an industry recruiter role and will give first-hand feedback from the industry perspective, on recruitment process. Group and mock interview sessions are planned

We will work on a real-life industry job add example throughout the workshop in terms of identifying skills needed for the position, writing a CV and letter of motivation and playing the job interview for that particular job with the Project Manager.

The Career Day will cover the following:
