The USCCA Concealed Carry Fundamentals is a comprehensive course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. The course is a complete guide to understanding conflict avoidance and situational awareness; home defense; handgun basics; shooting fundamentals; the physiology of violent encounters; the legal aspects of using deadly force (including knowing what to do in the aftermath); and a complete guide on gear, gadgets, and ongoing training. NOTE: Masks are optional for this event. Social distancing will be practiced to the extent possible. If you are in a high risk category, or are experiencing any COVID-19 systems, do not attend this class.
Attendees will receive a USCCA course completion certificate and the State of Florida Concealed Carry Permit Information and Application packet. Students must provide their own handgun and a minimum of 25 rounds of ammunition for the range portion of the course. A limited number of firearms will be available for use if needed (select this option during registration). Ammunition is included with the firearm option. All firearms and ammo will be inspected and approved prior to use at the range.
Registration Policies:
Class size is limited to 9 attendees. See Refund and Cancellation Policy below for additional information regarding cancellations due to lack of registered attendees.
Attendees will receive further information and instructions via email prior to the start of class.
Cancellation policy REGISTRATION and REFUND POLICY is as follows: You must prepay to reserve your spot in the class. The class will be closed after the first 12 students register. If the minimum class size is not met, you can choose to receive a full refund OR you can be registered in the next available class and receive a 5% rebate for the inconvenience. If your plans change and you must cancel your attendance, you must notify Shoot Better Academy by e-mail at least 72 hours before the class date and your tuition will automatically be credited toward the next class of your choosing.
