UQ Lunchtime Lecture Series

Discovering, Creating & Sharing with Learning Labs

The Smithsonian Center for Learning and Digital Access debuted the Smithsonian Learning Lab on June 20th, revealing its engaging online toolkit that enables everyone to find, customize and share digital museum resources with others. The Learning Lab offers free digital access to more than a million diverse resources from across the Smithsonian along with simple-to-use tools to organize, augment and personalize these assests.

On July 8, Dr Chris Campbell, UQ professor from the School of Education, will highlight her fellowship and work at the Smithsonian during this Lunchtime Lecture Series. Dr Campbell helped launch the Learning Lab for Teachers with Smithsonian representatives in Denver at the ISTE Conference (International Society for Technology in Education) and will discuss her role in the debut of the Smithsonian Learning Lab.

Please join us for the next event in the University of Queensland Lunchtime Lecture series on “Discovering, Creating and Sharing with Learning Labs." The lecture by UQ professor Chris Campbell will be followed by Q&A and discussion. A light lunch and refreshments will be provided.
