v Universal Design for Learning 101 and Bronco STAR – Dr. Emily Lenning

Location:  Lyons Science Annex - Room 127

Description:  This session provides an overview of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and describes how the Bronco STAR program can help faculty improve course content delivery and assessment in and out of the classroom. UDL emphasizes the use of multiple means of representation, engagement and expression in the learning setting. Concrete examples of how to re-design classes (with and without technology) to meet the needs of diverse learners, including students with learning differences is included. Also, the session focuses on faculty access to innovative technology and assistance in the course re-design process by becoming a Bronco STAR faculty learning-community member.
