Following the success of our Autumn Forum, we are delighted to invite you to join our next event. The Summer Forum offers a packed day of talks and sessions, offering you practical, actionable tips around changing behaviours, engaging your learners and maximising your investment in your learning strategy.

The day will be packed full with something for everyone, and will include sessions covering: LMS updates (what’s new and what’s in progress), custom content, client stories, hot topics (including GDPR, MiFID II and SMR), and cyber resilience. More info below, but please remember, whilst we have booked a larger venue due to demand, there are still limited places, so register now. Colleagues welcome to join you subject to availability.

Our key note will focus on engagement and behavioural change, and will be delivered by a guest speaker from Lead Now and Extraordinary Leadership – two organisations aimed at catalysing and revolutionising corporate behavioural change. This session will bring together themes from across the day, and will explore how we can deepen engagement and enable effective change, within the context of learning and development.

Unicorn LMS and Employee Engagement (Customer Showcase): 
Engagement is important to enhance employees’ commitment to the organisation's goals and values, motivate them to contribute to organisational success, and focus them on improving their own well-being and performance. In this session we will be discussing engagement stories and providing the opportunity to ask current customers how and why they have implemented certain changes to engage their learners.

Hot Topic: GDPR, MIFID, Senior Managers Regime: FSTP – as Unicorn's regulatory SME – in conjunction with our very own Simon Mercer, will bring you up to date with what's happening in the regulatory space and how Unicorn can help. This entertaining session will put you in the know - so you can answer the regulators questions even if your Senior Management can't.  This session covers: An overview of the FCA's Business Plan and Risk Outlook; The extension of the SMCR; The impact of the GDPR; MiFID II and your business; Highlights of how we are supporting these changes with learning content.

Work in progress LMS: What’s new, what are we working on, plus Q&A.This session will be delivered by our platform consultants, and will seek to offer some insight into what we are doing with the platform next. This session will include: SkillsServe changing to Unicorn LMS; Ongoing improvements (general enhancement based on user feedback, user interface / UX, self-service); Background as to why and how we will support Accountability II (T&C, SMR, Certification Regime); Q&A Session.

Beyond the Learning Ecosphere: Content that delivers results; Apps; and Putting it all into practice. Following the success of our Learning Ecosphere concept, this session takes things to the next level and looks at the ‘how’s’ as well as the ‘why’s’ when it comes to effective learning content. Chris Tedd and our content team will lead this session, which looks at: Choosing the right learning formats for your business (traditional vs mobile, apps etc); The place of apps in your overall learning strategy; How you can make existing content work better for you - converting your old style content to micro learning; Learning for behaviour change/engagement; Building a business case for custom eLearning.

Hot Topic: Cyber Resilience: Turn your people into the most effective defence against a cyber-attack.
Protecting your reputation, competitive advantage and operational capabilities from cyber-attack is fundamentally a human issue and not just about technology. This session will be delivered with our partners, AXELOS, and looks at how you can develop a culture of cyber resilience within your organisation. It will cover: The key role of your people; Why typical cyber security awareness training methods are failing us; What good cyber resilience can look like; The principles and benefits of adopting a new approach to behaviour changes; Highlights of how we are supporting with new RESILIA suite.

New LMS features now live: An interactive showcase of brand new features, including Q&A. A practical, hands-on session demo session. Aimed at helping you to get the most out of some of the integral existing features of Unicorn LMS.This session will focus on: Reporting upgrade; Registrations rules improvementDiscussions groupsNew Learning Path App.

Day closes with a relaxing drinks reception.
