Understanding Exposure for Digital RAW Capture

Why "getting it right in-camera" is just the first step towards better images

What time is this class in my time zone?

By understanding how your digital camera sensor records data, you'll get a complete understanding of why the "correct" exposure doesn't always match what the histogram says. From there, I'll teach you some useful ways of setting up your camera to record the best possible exposure and then make the necessary adjustments to that image in post-processing using Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop.

  • Camera settings for RAW exposure
  • Understanding your histogram
  • Exposure techniques
  • Adjusting RAW images to get the right look

Live Online Learning Event

You will be able to ask questions during the class.

Registration closes 30 minutes prior to the class start time.

All registered participants will receive a video replay! You must register BEFORE the class to be eligible.

IMPORTANT NOTE: To complete registration, you must return to the event page.
