    Unbound Athletic - CrossFit Speed

Presents: 

Unbound & Unleashed 

This is a mix teams event (2 x Males & 2 x Females) competition consisting of 4 WODs, held on Saturday the 10th of November 2018. 

Entry is $200 per Intermediate team & $240 for RX team - Registrations are open NOW.

Unbound & Unleashed is an event for Intermediate & RX Athletes, remember this is a team of 4 so not all athletes need to be able to do everything but it does help.

Intermediate will run from 7.30am till 11.30am 

Rx will run from 12.30 pm till 5 pm

Divisions: 

These standards are no indication of intended workouts. They are only to be used as a guideline when determining decisions when registering. 

 

Intermediate - This will be a hybrid division teams can have a mix of scaled and intermediate athletes. Good knowledge of all basic CrossFit movements, Ability to complete some benchmark workouts RX but maybe not all. Athletes will need to be able to complete - pull-ups and box jumps, plus hit a 10/9-foot wall ball target. In general, a solid athlete who is maybe just not able to perform the more technical movements such as muscle-ups, pistols, handstand walks etc. These standards are a guide and, workouts may or may not have all these movements, at least 1 athlete should be able to do some of these movements in your team.

Pull ups 

RX- Excellent knowledge and competency through all CrossFit movements. Prepared (and able) to take on the more technical movements and heavier weights. Can complete all Benchmark and most Hero WODS as prescribed.

Workouts & Standards

All movements and standards will be outlined.? Each WOD offers different levels of movement and/or weight. The competitor will choose at registration which level to complete the workout. This rewards strengths, exposes weaknesses and enables everyone to compete at a level which is challenging for them. 

All workouts and movements standards will be released in the week prior to the event.

Shirts will be available for purchase on the day, stock will be limited!

 

Briefing: Competition briefing will be specified closer to the date on the Facebook page and Website 

Waivers: Waivers are to be filled out and brought in, spares will be around on the day.

FAQ’s

Warming Up 

There will be a warm-up area for your convenience. There will be equipment for you to use during your warm-up, but if you have specific warm-up needs, you will need to bring those items with you. 

Parking

Our parking lot is going to be reserved for vendors and utilized for the workouts and a warm-up area throughout the day so you will be unable to park in the venue. There is plenty of parking on Flinders Parade. 

Spectators

You are welcome to bring as many spectators with you as you would like and we will have room for you to set up tents, chairs, tables, etc. for your convenience. During the competition inside the building will be reserved for athletes and spectators only, so your belongings will need to be placed outside. 

Food & Drink 

There will be food and drink options available to be purchased on the day.
