Deer Park Firefighter's Recreation Center (behind station), 711, Deer Park, TX, 77536, United States.

We have the Deer Park Fire Station meeting room scheduled for May 11th at 6:30 PM. Please try to make it if you can. My plan is to give everyone an opportunity to meet and know each other as students and alumni of the program.

- Alumni will be encouraged to share their experience post-graduation and give words of encouragement (open mic)

- Current students will be encouraged to share their experiences with classes, internships and jobs that may have come about (open mic)

- We will also try to do a speed networking and give everyone an opportunity to meet each other and help build and expand your network of peers .

- We would also like to recognize the accomplishments of current and past graduates. That includes those who got certified recently (I know we have two CSPs recently), presented at a conference, received a scholarship award, graduated recently, or had some other important life event (e.g., baby, marriage, promotion, etc.).

- We would also like to recognize the positive attributes we saw in past and present students with some special awards.

As for food and refreshments, we will leave that up to the student group leadership. We can cater it using funds we have, compete against each other (chili and BBQ cook off) or share food.  More to come on this...
