Participants in this course must be current LE/Mil or demonstrate they are in good legal standing with a current Concealed Firearms Permit or Criminal background clearance from their local government authority.

Participants of this course will receive both a TRICOM Advanced Expandable Baton certification, and BONOWI Camlock Baton Instructor certification.
The TRICOM modules (TRI-ANGLE COMBATIVES) are the result of 34 years of martial arts experience coupled with 18 years of experience teaching police and military Defensive Tactics and Combatives programs. Based on tactics of Pekiti-Tirsia Kali and supplemented with various striking and grappling disciplines, the TRICOM modules have been taught to Special Operations and Instructors from police and military units across the US and allied countries.
This two-day Instructor Certification course covers fundamental tactics of impact weapon application, then delves into the often overlooked and undertrained techniques and tactics of baton assisted control holds.
The instructor for this course, Jared Wihongi, world renown Close Quarters Combat Instructor. He is a student of multiple martial arts and combatives systems, but specializes in the baton and blade weapon based combat arts of the Philippines. He has 19 years of experience in law enforcement (both full-time and Reserve), 16 of which has been working on SWAT Teams and as a Use-of-Force Instructor.
12 years ago Jared developed the training programs for the German made BONOWI Camlock Baton, and is currently the highest ranking International Master Instructor for BONOWI's training programs.
