TRE®  MODULE 1 OF CERTIFIED PROVIDER TRAINING, DEVON APRIL 2022

****IN- PERSON RETREAT*****

 We invite you to this special in-person TRE® retreat in a beautiful location in Devon, 

Come and experience TRE®   for yourself,  open to all -  those new to TRE®  and those wishing to deepen their experience,  and learn more about the practice and the theory behind TRE®. 

 

Module 1 is also the first part of the TRE® Certified Provider Training  (see more details below) 

 ******   THIS MODULE MAY  RUN ONLINE as a 2 -day workshop  IF WE ARE NOT ABLE TO MEET IN PERSON *******

FRIDAY April 22nd  evening -   (arrive from 5pm  for  settling in and supper at 6pm  + evening session)   

SAT 23rd  -   9.30am  -  5.30pm 

SUN 24th  -  9.30am - 5.00pm

The full 12 - 18 month TRE® Certification Training consists of 

 3 X 2 DAY MODULES  plus  SUPERVISION PROCESS (Please see below) 

 

THIS FIRST MODULE IS  OPEN TO EVERYONE   to learn about using TRE for your own personal health and well-being. 

It is also the first module of the TRE® CERTIFIED PROVIDER TRAINING: 

 

COME AND LEARN THE BASICS OF TRE,  EXPLORE AND DEEPEN INTO YOUR OWN PRACTICE. 

  • An introduction to TRE and your personal tremoring process - each morning and afternoon you will be guided through the exercises and the tremoring process, learning how to "go slow," and safely regulate your process 
  • An introduction to the anatomy, physiology and neurology of the stress response and trauma 
  • Containment,  grounding,  self-regulation skills

 

The full training process lasts 12 - 18 months :  

  • 3 x 2 day modules, plus
  • A process of Supervision (min 13 sessions with a mentor or in a peer group) that support you in  
  • developing and deepening your own TRE practice,
  • learning to facilitate individuals through the TRE process
  • teaching small groups. 
  • application of theory -  anatomy, physiology, neurology of the stress response and trauma, polyvagal theory, fascia.
  • containment, grounding,  co- and self-regulation,  
  • developmental trauma and attachment in relation to TRE
  • how to set up a practice  

 

MODULE 2 

FRIDAY July 8th  eve (arrive 5pm)  -  SUN July 10th 5.00pm 2022    (cost £250/£230)

MODULE 3   

FRIDAY October 21st  eve (arrive after 5pm) - SUNDAY 23rd 2022    (cost £250/£230)

 

SUPERVISION PROCESS : 

Minimum 13 supervision sessions  : approx £1500   (depending on existing skills - if no therapeutic or teaching background,  may need additional supervision).  These are  1-1 sessions with mentor, reveiw of teaching sessions,  videos, written work)

4 X SESSIONS with supervisor - exploring your own TRE process.  (preferably in-person sessions) 

4 SESSIONS (either 1-1 or in small group) - exploring your experiences teaching TRE to individuals  (these can be over Skype/Zoom).  (includes reveiw of teaching videos)  

4 SESSIONS (EITHER 1-1 or in small group) - exploring your experiences teaching TRE to groups  (can be over Skype/Zoom)  (Includes review of teaching videos) 

Books / videos / website registration. -  approx     £150  

 

The cost of the training (3 modules, plus supervision)  can be paid in full, in three payments,  or  spread over 10- 12 months,  please contact me for details of different payment plans.

There are:

·      5 x Single rooms with shared bathroom £ 55 pp/ night

·      4 x shared with shared bathroom ( 2 single beds in each room) £ 45 pp / night

·      3 x indoor camping ( bring your own bedding) shared room with shared Bathroom £25 pp / night

·      Local B&B’s - There are lots of deals with air BNB in Teignmouth only 10 - 15 min away. The prices range from £75 upwards per person. I'd advise folks to check them out themselves.

·      1 room  in Ideford offering an ensuite room for £50 pp/night.

Cancellations Policy Training

cThis cancellation policy applies to workshops organized by Steph Hodgson  Moving Hearts Therapy 

 

I can’t attend the workshop:

All deposits are non refundable. You can transfer the deposit to another course within one year of the original course.

I want a refund:

Please let us know asap through email: steph@movinghearts.co.uk.

The amount of your refund depends on how much notice you give:

  • At least 30 days before the start of the event: 100% refund  (less £65 non-refundable deposit) 
  • Less than 30  days: 50% refund
  • Less than 5 days, on or after the start date: Sorry, no refund

I want to attend the same workshop on a different date:

As long as there is a similar workshop within one year of the original, no problem. If there’s still space available on the workshop you want to transfer to, we’ll move you there. If no space is available, we’ll refund your registration as described above.

 

I decided not to go to the workshop:

Sorry, no refunds are available if you didn’t cancel in advance.

 

Other cancellations and schedule changes:

It is unlikely to happen, but we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule an event due to low enrolment, presenter illness, or other circumstances. If the event is cancelled, participants will receive a full refund of their registration fee.

If the event is rescheduled, participants will have the option of attending the rescheduled event or receiving a full refund.

 

If we cancel or reschedule a workshop or other event, we won’t refund your travel, lodging, or meal expenses. We suggest you make refundable travel arrangements.
