High Rocks Nature Reserve, 1 Warren Farm Ln, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN3 9JG, United Kingdom.
The day will be led by nature lover, workshop leader and Buddhist practitioner Jo Goldsmid. More about her work can be found here. She writes:"Rediscover our connectedness with nature and our place within it. Immersing ourselves in our wild surroundings, we will explore our relationship to nature with the aim of developing a renewed vitality and sense of belonging in the more-than-human world. We will work individually, in pairs and as a whole group, with a focus on using our senses and inhabiting the environment mindfully. By gently contacting our childhood wonder and delight in our natural surroundings, we may discover that this whole planet is in fact, our home…"

Other information
To take part you will need to able to walk for half an hour unaided over uneven ground. The event will go ahead in all weathers (except persistent heavy rain or gale force winds). You will enjoy the day most if you stay warm and dry. So waterproofs and more layers than you think you need are always a good idea. Even if the forecast is full sunshine, it may well be cool under the tree canopy at this time of year. We won't be doing anything very energetic on the day so we'll be relying on our clothes to keep our body temperature up. Also, please be aware that there may be nettles and thorny bushes at the Rocks so I would advise full length trousers, long sleeves and enclosed footwear. A watch may also be useful.
