Dear IOSH Members,
IOSH Singapore Branch is delighted to invite you to join us for a technical visit to Asia Pacific Breweries (Singapore) Pte Ltd, familiarly known as Tiger Brewery, on 12 November 2016, Saturday. The visit includes a tailored sustainability tour and aims to give you an insight to the brewery industry. Here’s what in for us in a gist:
1. Visitor's Centre: We'll be received here to learn about its history through a docent and view various multimedia displays.
2. Brewing Facility: We'll look at the five processes functioning real time - Milling, mashing and boiling, fermentation, storage and filtration. There is an ingredient kiosk where you could feel and smell the ingredients that go into the beer.
3. Packaging Gallery: We'll see get to see the mechanisms of beer dispensing and how bottles are scanned for defects. You’ll also get to know how the equipment for brewing has evolved since the olden days.
4. Tiger Tavern: Here’s your unique chance to have a beer tasting opportunity and enjoy the freshest brew available anywhere in the world. We’ve specially arranged a lunch buffet to compliment your beer. But remember, know your limits and drink responsibly!
