STD-HIV Inter-relationship

 

Objectives

At the conclusion of the program, participants will be able to:

1.Identify the Infectivity Formula and how each component is important

2.Identify Define the impact of each component of the Infectivity Formula in the sexual transmission of HIV

3.Demonstrate Use this information to educate and counsel patients to reduce HIV/STD risks

   

This training is open to New York State clinical providers, such as physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, dentists and pharmacists.

 

 

Continuing Pharmacy Education 

The University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This live knowledge-based activity “STD-HIV Inter-relationship,” ACPE #0044-9999-16-044-L02-P, will award 1 contact hour or 0.10 CEUs of pharmacy education credit.  No partial credit will be awarded.
