Hepatitis C and HIV Co-Infection

 

Objectives

At the conclusion of the program, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the epidemiology and prevention of Hepatitis C (HCV).
  • Discuss screening and diagnostic workup of HCV infection.
  • Describe the clinical management of Hepatitis C and HIV.

 

This training is open to New York State clinical providers, such as physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, dentists and pharmacists.

 

Continuing Nurse Education Credits

The University at Albany School of Public Health is an Approved Provider of continuing nurse education by the Northeast Multi-State Division, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
