Thinking Outside the Box: National Housing Day Fredericton

To mark National Housing Day, the City of Fredericton Affordable Housing Committee, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) and its partners are hosting the 10th annual Affordable Housing Day Celebration.  

The theme for this year's event is Thinking Outside the Box and we will explore options for the creation and preservation of affordable housing developments in our community.  

This is an excellent opportunity to learn about: 

• CMHC Seed Funding Program and Innovation Fund
  

• Provincial Department of Social Development - Housing Branch programs and supports

• Innovative approaches to building and funding affordable housing builds

A light breakfast and lunch will be served.

ATTENTION APARTMENT OWNERS: The Fredericton Apartment Owners Association will be hositng their Annual General Meeting in conjunction with National Housing Day: members and non-members welcome!  FAOA AGM from 8:00 - 9:00 with goverment housing program presentations to follow from 9:00 - 1:00.   Please register for the FAOA AGM component of the program HERE.
