Your camper is welcome to stay for an additional 3 hours of non-writing time filled with sunshine and fun! Pickup is at 4 pm. Please add 1 ticket/day of after-care. NOTE: This option is available to add on at camp.
The youngest among us are often the best storytellers! Come and explore what it means to be a writer by learning about other authors, finding story ideas in your world, and even writing your own story or comic book. This is the perfect place if you love writing, whether you write with words or entirely through pictures! In between writing we’ll have Daytime Campfire Stories, painting, and even a water war. Each camper will finish camp with at least one piece they can contribute to The Write Path 2019, which will be published following our camp session.
Grades: Rising 2nd through 4th

After nearly 15 years as a federal government leader, my focus has turned to my own community. I relish the skills and joy I receive from a career of service. My life today is filled not only with a vibrant leadership and strategic communications consulting business, but also working with local small businesses, hosting youth writing camps, managing a farm for rescue animals, coaching soccer and Girls on the Run, working closely with my youth group, and trying to evolve my own capabilities as a mother to two girls. My passion is helping others achieve their goals and realize their own visions of success – by finding and channeling the inspiration, simplicity, and fun in daily life, I believe we can all find more and more points of connection.
