Erin Hatton
Erin has over 25years experience in the sport & development sectors across the Pacific, Australia, Africa, & UK. In 2019, Erin joined Oceania Rugby to lead the region’s Social-Change, Sport Diplomacy & Women in Rugby strategies, through International Partnerships. During this time, Erin has delivered significant increases in revenue, increased the participation of women and girls in rugby on and off the field, introduced rugby-based social change programs, progressed Fijiana into the Australian Super W, and an Oceania Women’s Combine for talent identified players. Erin is an advocate for all sport, has played everything, but an awful lot of basketball, netball, touch, mountain biking. She dabbled in and adored playing rugby before realising her dodgy shoulders were really not built for it!
Amber McLachlan
Amber began refereeing in 2009 and was appointed to the national panel in 2014. She has refereed at Women’s Nationals, 2013 – 2017; Super W 2018 – 2022 and AON 7's 2017-2019. Amber has been an assistant referee at Sydney Sevens, Commonwealth Games and Super Rugby this year. Her 11 Tests include Women’s 6-Nations and RWC qualifiers. Amber is a Referee for the upcoming Women’s RWC 2021 (playing in 2022).
Amber played for Power House RUFC in Victoria and, in the state championships, for Victoria. It was following an ACL injury that McLachlan first tried refereeing. Initially it was just something to do to pass the time on the sidelines. The rest is history.
