The RPT Christmas Market

The Rugby Portobello Trust runs free programmes on and off-site 6 days per week, 45 weeks of the year, up to 10 hours per day. We support the most at-risk and vulnerable children, young people and mothers in our community, giving them the support and structure needed to build the skills and confidence to live fulfilling lives as engaged members of their community. We work with more than 1,300 children, young people and isolated mums every year. We have a small team of about 25 staff who are supported by an incredible team of 212 volunteers, who are recipients of the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Services for their exceptional commitment to supporting their community. We are more than 85% funded through donations, small grants and events like our Christmas Market, which allows us adapt our services as and when needed to best suit the changing needs of the people we support.
