It's time to reinvent the Reader/Author experience for Romance fans and step away from the ordinary conference track we've become all too familiar with...Don't just grind through trade show style events--but instead slow down and celebrate and get the opportunity to dive into what makes each genre of romance special and what attracts us to those books to make them "keepers".

THE ROMANCE RETREAT will be a magical and immersive, with hands-on workshops and presentations, unforgettable genre parties and book themed celebrations like no other. Published romance authors from every genre will be welcomed and every romance reader and super fan should be ready to indulge themselves in something that should never be called a guilty pleasure.

Authors--the ultimate goal for us is to connect with Readers. Not in rushed exchanges across a random signing table or in one-way presentations with the same FAQs over and over. TRR is going to try to break the mould and give Every Author a level playing field and the opportunity to really participate so that Readers have the chance to get to know you. 

The Rereat's main events will kick off with a Black and White Ball (where YOU get to wear RED!) and then we're off to days filled with unique hands-on workshops, real meet and greets, and more romance genre themed parties than you ever thought possible.  Surprises and amazing giveaways abound and each night will end with a Ball.  There will be Small Town Country Fair for those who enjoy small town settings for their romances, a Hero's Picnic and even a USO bash for Military romances... From Steampunk Afternoon Tea to a Direwolves and Dragons Ball, the goal is to make sure everyone has their turn to truly celebrate and play!
