Are you looking for new learning opportunities to improve your practice as an early childhood educator? Quality programs for young children will always be needed and now more than ever teachers and caregivers will need positive social and emotional skills to work with young children who may be reacting to the stressors and trauma brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic. Why not use this time as an opportunity to better yourself, improve your knowledge, and update your skills so that you will be ready to respond when needed.
This 8 week virtual class series is designed for early childhood educators, child care staff and care givers of children ages 0-5. We will focus on the key concepts of Positive Discipine through the lens of development, explore life from the perspective of a young child and practice using the tools in the classroom setting. We will also explore some best practices for connecting and engaging parents and families to create a positive school culture. This fun and interactive class will be facilitated virtually via Zoom and still have the engaging aspects of an in person Positive Discipline class. Together we will co-create a connected group of participants who will share and encourage learning and growing together.
