Sunday, 29 May 2016 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM EST

The Berkshires of Western Massachusetts, 237 Mohawk Trail, Greenfield, MA, 01301, United States.

Our meeting point will be announced via confirmation e-mails to attendees.  Trailers are welcome, as we will return to our meeting point(s), but your rig must be able to handle a minimum of 40 mph speeds between the trailer parking and air down location and the trails.  Road travel is around 15 miles after we air down.  Our loop will be around 40 miles of on pavement and off pavement travel.  The convoy from the meeting location to the air down spot will be roughly 30 minutes, at speeds up to 55 mph.

Rig Requirements and Trail Ratings:  Overall, this trail system is rated blue, however, there are at least three BLACK obstacles.  We will be on roads, and there are no go arounds for these BLACK obstacles.  Vehicles should be equipped with minimum 33" tires and one locker and a winch, or 33" tires and two lockers.  Vehicles unable to tackle any obstacle will need to be winched or strapped over the obstacle.  This is a very long, challenging trail, with vertical ledges as high as 6 feet.  (This would earn the trail a rating of ten on a scale of 1 - 10 by Jeep Jamboree's trail rating system.)

Body armor and skid plates will be used.

Our club highly recommends our members register their rigs with the Massachusetts Environmental Police at the office closest to you.  Here are some links you may find useful:
