The Walt Disney Birthplace proudly presents The Original Mouseketeers live and in person at the historic Tivoli Theatre in Downers Grove
For one day only - June 25th
It will be an incredible event celebrating the troupe of talented singers, dancers and actors hired by Walt Disney himself!
The Mouseketeers will share their amazing personal stories, recount their remembrances of working with Walt, sing their classic opening and closing Mickey Mouse Club songs, hold a panel discussion, and there's even an opportunity to meet them in person. And one lucky guest can become an "Honorary Mouseketeer!" See the Mouseketeers and help restore the Walt Disney Birthplace at the same time!
Purchase the VIP Package and get front-and-center section seating, a group photo op with the Mouseketeers, and a special keepsake!
Support The Walt Disney Birthplace by becoming a Sponsor of this event!
Become an Event Sponsor and you'll receive everything in the VIP package, and also get a listing in the program as an event sponsor AND dinner with the Mouseketeers after the show!
If you purchase the "Honorary Mouseketeer" package, you'll receive all the benefits of the VIP and Sponsor packages, AND you'll get to join the Mouseketeers ON STAGE as they make you an Honorary Mouseketeer and bestow upon you your very own pair of Mouse Ears!
As a special opening act, we are thrilled to welcome "Letters from Home" to the Tivoli Stage. "Letters From Home" is a patriotic tour de force featuring the bombshell duo of Courtney Groves and Erinn Diaz performing hits from the 1940's. You'll be revved up, hootin' and a-hollerin', as the gals warm up the crowd for the legendary Mouseketeers!
All proceeds will benefit the Center for Early Childhood Creativity and Innovation at the Walt Disney Birthplace, a registered 501c3 non-profit restoring Walt Disney's historic birthplace and providing opportunities for children and their families to create and innovate.
The magic begins at 1:00 PM in one of America’s last true movie palaces: Chicago’s Tivoli Theatre, featuring a working Wurlitzer pipe organ (which will play from noon until 1pm as the theater is filling)! The mouseketeers will speak and answer questions about their AMAZING careers.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see and be uplifted by some of the most beloved TV stars in American history!
Please note that this event takes place on the last evening of Downers Grove's Rotary GroveFest
Downers Grove celebrates its four-day Rotary GroveFest over this same weekend, so we strongly recommend arriving early and enjoying the live entertainment, carnival midway, "Festival of Cars" and more! This will allow you plenty of time to find parking in the area. For more information about Rotary GroveFest, please click here to visit their website.

The organization is also restoring Chicago's historic Walt Disney Birthplace back to its 1893 glory to be a source of inspiration for the next generation of dreamers and doers.
About The Tivoli Theatre
The Tivoli Theatre opened on Christmas Day in 1928, the second theater in America to debut with newfangled “talkies.” Local papers called it the “Wonder Theatre of suburban Chicago.” It is one of the rare classic movie houses that remains a single-screen location, with 1,012 seats. This architectural jewel, lovingly renovated over the decades, also boasts a Mighty Wurlitzer theatre organ!
