A workshop to look at all willow species and a few of their hybrids that grow in the southern half of the island of Ireland. The morning will be spent learning what you have to look at in each species to be able to identify it. From the colour of the hairs on the underside of the leaf to the ridges on the bare wood. The afternoon will be spent looking at willows along the River Blackwater.
