An exploration of how we can become more receptive to the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha
Blessings flow around us all the time, but do we always notice them?
We have the everyday blessings of food and shelter, of sun and rain, of family and friends; the blessings of Sangha, the context of friendship in which we can practice and grow; and blessings from beyond our mundane awareness, of Buddha and Dharma, that can transform our whole way of being.
So often we take these blessings for granted, or ignore them, focusing instead on the difficult and challenging in our lives. To truly experience blessings and joy, all we have to do is to turn towards them, whenever and wherever they arise, and respond from the heart.
That is what we will be doing on our January Sangha retreat, where we will be at Adhisthana, a beautiful retreat centre in the Malvern Hills, in Herefordshire. Adhisthana means blessings, grace, and this retreat centre is the home of the founder and core teacher of Triratna, Urgyen Sangharakshita. So in many ways it is the heart of the Triratna Buddhist Community.
Come and join us on this journey to explore how we can open our hearts to the power of blessings, bringing gratitude and joy, in the company of like-minded friends - a gift you can carry back into your everyday life for the rest of the new year and beyond.
"Let go and allow the power of blessings to transform you."
Open to all.
