The Chillest Skate Party with Velvet Wench

Velvet Wench is a Jammer for the Atomic Bombshells but before she got into Roller Derby she was an artistic skater and a "rink rat." Velvet is excited to bring some of her skating background to this fun non-contact skate session for skaters of all levels.

Velvet writes: Hello Friends, we are always working so hard on derby and skills that it would be nice to have a fun practice with games, dancing and all around cheer. To sum up a little of what I have planned I'm taking a little bit from my rink rat days and mixing it up with derby. I have some games to do on skates, some relay and obstacle things and of course Limbo! I want to make it fun and exciting but also challenging if you wanna get competitive.

There will be plenty of non intense things too if competing isn't your jam [hehe, jam] so make sure to have some bells (not literal) on your feet because there will be dancing as well. Everyone loves to skate to some good beats. Excited to see you all there!

It is just  $5 + proccessing fees to participate!

Bring all your gear!

Please arrive at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium between 5:30 and 5:45, with enough time to gear up so we can start skating at 6:00 and the festivities will end at 8pm.
