The Calidore String Quartet was formed at the Colburn School of Music in Los Angeles in 2010. It is composed of violinists Jeffrey Myers and Ryan Meehan, violist Jeremy Berry and cellist Estelle Choi. The group won the inaugural 2016M-Prize Competition at the University of Michigan, the much sought-after Borletti-Buitoni Trust Award in London in 2016, and the Fischoff, Coleman, ARD, and Hamburg International Chamber Music Competitions. The quartet has appeared in concert at Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall, Lincoln Center, Kuhmo Art Hall (Seoul), The Berlin Konzerthaus, and at festivals including Verbier, Ravinia, Aspen, Rheingau, and Mostly Mozart. They have recently released critically acclaimed recordings of the music of Haydn, Mendelssohn, and Tchaikovsky.

The MCMS concerts are enjoyed in an intimate setting and thus allow you to become more immersed in the music. Each event typically lasts about 2 hours.
