The Business of Birth Photography Workshops are more than just a typical photography workshop - it's an experience you'll cherish, learning you will grow from and inspiration you will be able to apply.

The event kicks off at 6:00pm on Friday with a Introduction drinks and nibbles, followed by a special Birth Photography Information Session to demonstrate face to face marketing. The workshop experience will kick into full swing from 9am the following day with 5.00pm finishes on both days.

From the very first activity through to the final one, you will enjoy the opportunity to focus your passion for photography around this amazing genre. Utilising the University of South Australia's Midwifery Training Facility, you will practice various camera techniques under common lighting conditions found in the birth environment. You will also have the opportunity to witness insightful discussions with clients and midwives whilst engaging in some fantastic networking opportunities.

Throughout the sessions you will have an opportunity to explore ideas and refine your business direction as Victoria and Cassie discuss their own experiences and avenues that have worked to build the profile of their own businesses.

The Birth Photography Information Session is an amazing marketing event that workshop participants will witness. It is an event run by Victoria and Cassie will be open to the general public, birth workers and photographers who have an interest in the genre. It is an inspiring session and fantastic conclusion to the workshop experience.

Our workshops are available to photographers of all skill levels, however you will gain the most from our specialised workshop experience if you are able to use your camera in manual. For those in the beginner to intermediate stages of running photography business, having completed the BOBP Online Course prior to the workshop is most advantageous.
