The Ataris are an American rock band from Anderson, Indiana. Formed in 1996, they have released five studio albums, with So Long, Astoria certified gold. In 2009, an album was announced to be entitled The Graveyard of the Atlantic although the album's status has been on indefinite ambiguity, with just two EPs released in 2010 and 2012 both with the same titles as the awaited album. They are best known for their hit cover song, originally recorded by Don Henley, "The Boys of Summer".
Over the last decade and a half Las Vegas based punk band Happy Campers has released 6 albums, toured all over the country, and been the sound track to 100s of TV shows and Movies. So chances are, even if you haven’t heard of Happy Campers... you have probably heard Happy Campers.
Happy Campers came on to the scene in 1996 with a hard hitting West Coast Skate Punk sound, an energetic and entertaining live show, and a singer in Isaac "Campa" Irvine who had a knack for writing songs that resonated with people. The band has survived and evolved through out the years. Line up changes, near death experiences and exploding tour vans haven't been able to stop them. The "Happy Campers" ship has weathered the storm and keeps on sailing...
Happy Campers has an impressive resume for a DIY band. They've sold over 10,000 CD’s through shows & online distribution, had over 200,000 views on their videos on YouTube and played over 500 shows across the USA. Happy Campers have rocked Warped Tour, Tony Hawk’s Big Skate Park Tour, Rock the Vote w/ Pennywise, SnowCore Tour w/ Alien Ant Farm, The Hard Rock Joint w/ Offspring, Las Vegas’ Red White & Boom with The Vandals and MC Hammer. The've opened for NOFX, AFI, The Atari’s, Unwritten Law, and No Use for a Name; just to name a few. Happy Campers have had hundreds of music placements that include; MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon, HGTV, Fox Sports Net, Adrenaline TV, Bumfights, MTV Cribs featuring Tony Hawk & Bam Margera; and even a cameo in the horror movie “Coons, Bandits of the Night!”
In late 2011 Happy Campers became a 4 piece adding a lead guitarist. It has added a new found energy and level of musicianship to a band that has always been known for great vocals and song writing. Three part harmonies and haunting vocal melodies layered over guitar solos, bass breakdowns, and pounding drums led them into the studio with Producer Ryan Greene (NOFX, Lagwagon, Megadeth), to record their 6th studio release titled "Dancing with Demons!"
